INCORE CORP. is a real estate consulting, investment and development company that has operated in the downtown historic district of Sonoma since 1978. Owner Jeffrey Freiberg made the decision to put solar electric systems on 3 of his commercial properties in Sonoma as well as his personal residence.

Mr. Freiberg viewed solar as an excellent investment with a 7-8 year ROI on a product that would pay back generously over 25+ years. He found it even more attractive with the ability to plan development in advance with solar in mind. Using solar power is in line with his company’s philosophy to build energy      efficient, environmentally-friendly spaces with features that appeal to tenants.

Because space was a constraint, Sun First! chose SunPower panels for their superior module efficiency which produces the most electricity per sq. foot.

We believe in minimizing our impact on the environment.  Reducing our fossil fuel energy use is a beneficial goal and solar power is a major factor, coupled with improved insulation and glazing.  We expect to receive silver level LEED certification.  LEED compliance is becoming a City and County commercial building code requirement and we are trying to stay ahead of the curve.  It is cost beneficial in both the short and long term view.
